Borre style trefoil Viking brooch used to fasten cloaks or coats. Can also be worn in the center of a tunic or dress. This style is a period of Norse art that lasted from approximately the end of the 9th century to midway through the 10th century and takes its named from a burial site at Borre in Vestfold, Norway.
